  • A paper by Prof Duan Jin-Chuan (right) and PhD student Wang Tao from the Department of Finance, together with Sun Jie from the Risk Management Institute (RMI), won the Best Paper Award at the 2010 National Taiwan University (NTU) International Conference on Finance. Held since 1995, the NTU International Conference on Finance took place on December 10-11 in Taipei this year and focused on the topic "Risk in globalized financial markets". Professor Douglas W. Diamond (The University of Chicago) and Professor G. Andrew Karolyi (Cornell University) were the keynote speakers.
